Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the standards of conduct expected of all users of the classroom.guru platform ("Platform"). It is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.


2. Permitted Use

The Platform is intended for lawful personal, professional, and business use of our AI utility tools. You may use the Platform to:

  • Generate, edit, summarise, and analyse content for legitimate purposes.
  • Automate tasks and workflows within your own personal or business operations.
  • Explore and experiment with AI capabilities in a responsible manner.
  • Integrate Platform outputs into your own products and services, provided such use complies with these Terms.

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal and Harmful Content

You must not use the Platform to create, distribute, or facilitate:

  • Content that is illegal under any applicable law.
  • Content that incites or promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises or exploits minors.
  • Defamatory, harassing, or threatening content targeting any individual or group.
  • Content that facilitates illegal discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.

3.2 Misinformation and Deception

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Generate or spread deliberately false information intended to deceive others.
  • Create deepfakes, synthetic media, or impersonations designed to mislead.
  • Produce content that falsely represents an affiliation with classroom.guru or any other organisation.
  • Create spam, phishing content, or fraudulent communications.

3.3 Privacy Violations

You must not:

  • Input personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
  • Use the Platform to build tools or systems for unauthorised surveillance or tracking of individuals.
  • Attempt to re-identify anonymised data.
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect personal data from others using Platform tools.

3.4 Intellectual Property Infringement

You must not:

  • Use the Platform to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from copyrighted material without authorisation.
  • Infringe the trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Use the Platform to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) or copy protection systems.

3.5 Security and Platform Integrity

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its systems, or other users' accounts.
  • Introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code into the Platform.
  • Use the Platform to generate malware, ransomware, exploits, or other malicious software.
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks or other actions that disrupt or degrade Platform performance.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Platform in a way that exceeds reasonable use or disrupts normal operations, unless expressly permitted.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorisation.

3.6 Abuse of AI Systems

You must not:

  • Attempt to "jailbreak", manipulate, or bypass the safety mechanisms of AI systems on the Platform.
  • Use the Platform to develop methods or tools to circumvent AI content filters.
  • Systematically generate large volumes of low-quality, spam, or abusive content.

3.7 Commercial Misuse

You must not:

  • Resell, sublicence, or otherwise commercialise access to the Platform without our express written consent.
  • Share your account credentials with others to circumvent subscription requirements.
  • Use the Platform to develop a directly competing product or service.

4. Responsible AI Use

We expect users to approach AI tools responsibly. This means:

  • Reviewing and taking responsibility for any AI-generated outputs before using or sharing them.
  • Not relying on AI Outputs for critical decisions involving health, safety, legal, or financial matters without independent professional verification.
  • Being transparent about the use of AI-generated content in contexts where disclosure is appropriate or required.
  • Reporting any AI outputs that appear harmful, dangerous, or in breach of this AUP to support@classroom.guru.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a potential violation of this AUP, please report it to us at:

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We may take action on reports at our sole discretion.


6. Consequences of Violation

We reserve the right to take any of the following actions in response to a violation of this AUP:

  • Issue a formal warning.
  • Temporarily suspend access to the Platform.
  • Permanently terminate your account.
  • Remove or restrict access to specific content or features.
  • Report illegal activity to relevant law enforcement authorities.

Termination for violations of this AUP does not entitle you to a refund. We are not required to provide advance notice before taking action.


7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
